Diagnostic or medical imaging refers to the processes used to create images of the body. The purpose of these procedures is to aid the veterinarian in making a proper diagnosis of the disease causing illness.

Digital Radiography (X-rays)

At Chisholm Trail Pet Clinic, we use state-of-the-art digital radiography. This system is extremely safe and allows us to obtain high-quality diagnostic images much faster than traditional methods. Because the images are digital, we are able to email them for specialty evaluation as well as share the images with our clients.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non-invasive way to evaluate the internal organs of your pet. These images provide a three-dimensional view of the liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder and intestines. Ultrasound enables us to perform tissue aspirates and biopsies from abnormal areas within the body without surgery. In many cases, this process is invaluable in obtaining a definitive diagnosis for your pet.
